A Life Beyond Delimitations

That’s to say, Jolie Yi’s attempts paid off sumptuously with Hapiru (her brand of contemporary women’s clothing) joining The Garage Public Relations. Based in LA, Hapiru translates to dust to life and beyond the borders, solely incorporating this subtle philosophy to bring forth high quality, fluid designs that scream spirit; sophistication and charm without making the wearer feel awkward or self-conscious.

The idea originated from Jolie’s aspirations to design a collection for encouraging an overall balance to promote confidence through individual dressing styles. Thus, basic yet specific principles (clean lines, high-quality fabrics and sophisticated designs) stand as the prime forte of the clothing line, featuring anything between super-soft jerseys to silk.

The Hapiru Spring 2009 premiered the light-hearted collection, which, according to Jolie, is: “…dedicated to unique construction processes and the unique attribute of garment dye”, while the Fall collection shall be featuring the much-anticipated soft, fluidly chic and sexy designs in intelligently architectural prints. And though they shall be showing up at the Polka Dots & Moonbeams and the Fred Segal Santa Monica after the ramp display, we think the wait shall only hype the desire of making them a part of the wardrobe by all those looking forward to the upsy-daisy feel.
